Nearly 10% of global GHG emissions come from wasted food. It’s a challenge Enbridge, in partnership with Divert, is working to solve by taking food waste out of landfills and turning it into carbon negative renewable natural gas. The companies plan to invest up to $1 billion in facilities aimed at mitigating wasted food and greenhouse gas emissions across the US.
