Tattoo artist Mars Hobrecker wanted to give his queer and trans friends a safe, welcoming tattoo experience, a chance to express themselves in ink while feeling seen and understood. The result is Somewhere NYC, a Brooklyn-based tattoo studio that’s also a haven for the LGBTQIA+ community.
