World Bank president David Malpass, Indonesia's Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati, Egypt's Minister of International Cooperation Rania Al-Mashat, and Eurasia Group and GZERO Media president Ian Bremmer discussed some of the most pressing geopolitical and economic challenges facing the world, from the impact of conflict on global equality and food security to the economic slowdown and the fight against inflation, during the latest Global Stage event.

The conversation streamed live from the World Bank's headquarters in Washington, DC on April 21, during their annual spring meeting, and was moderated by The New York Times' Jeanna Smialek. Also featured were Vickie Robinson, General Manager of Microsoft Airband Initiative, who discussed how to expand broadband access throughout the developing world to help achieve global equality, and Gintarė Skaistė, Lithuania's Minister of Finance, who talked about her country's long-term energy independence strategy.
