The conversation streamed live from the World Bank's headquarters in Washington, DC on April 21, during their annual spring meeting, and was moderated by The New York Times' Jeanna Smialek. Also featured were Vickie Robinson, General Manager of Microsoft Airband Initiative, who discussed how to expand broadband access throughout the developing world to help achieve global equality, and Gintarė Skaistė, Lithuania's Minister of Finance, who talked about her country's long-term energy independence strategy.
