How will the mass shootings impact the presidential race?

Well clearly it makes gun control more of an issue for Democrats. But more broadly, they'll take the case directly to President Trump as Beto O'Rourke did over the weekend blaming his rhetoric and actions for an increase in hate and violence in the country.

Will there be gun control legislation after these attacks?

No, there won't. There hasn't been after any of the other recent attacks which happened over and over and this time will be any different.

Is the trade war with China getting worse?

Yes quite clearly it's getting worse. China's move to devalue its currency. That means tariffs that Trump puts in place are less of an impact for China. They're not backing down and it will get worse.

The Rant: Trump and White Supremacy?

The rant today is on President Trump's comments from the White House today where he quite rightly slammed white supremacy and racism and said it has no place in this country. It came from the same president who hours earlier on Twitter blamed the news media in part for these attacks. I think we should pay attention to Twitter Trump and not teleprompter Trump.
