Will an extended pandemic make the already vulnerable movie theater industry defunct?
It is going to hurt the movie industry. It is going to hurt every industry. It will put a lot of movie theaters out of business because for at least the next few months, very few people are going to go. On the other hand, I do think we will get over this. And I do think once we are over it, people will start to go back. So, it will be a moment of serious transition, and then I hope recovery.
Outside of coronavirus, what's the big tech story I should know about?
Well, the EU just passed rules about the right to repair gadgets. I think that's great. All gadgets should be designed so that you can repair them. So, they last longer. It's sustainable. It's really, it's better for everything.
How is the work from home lifestyle going so far?
Well, I'm working from home. My kids are here, but they've completely learned that they should never distract me. And that's not a problem at all. So, things are good.
