With nearly a decade of experience across government, consulting, and political risk, Matias specializes in Mexico's energy sector, trade policy, elections, and the US-Mexico relationship. Matias frequently represents Eurasia Group with commentary in international and Mexican media, including Bloomberg, the Financial Times, Reforma, El Universal, Milenio, La Hora de Opinar, and Nexos. He holds a bachelor's degree in international Relations from El Colegio de Mexico and a master's degree in public policy from the London School of Economics.
