55.5: Indonesian president Joko Widodo, known commonly as "Jokowi," won reelection with 55.5 percent of the vote, according to official figures announced on Tuesday. Jokowi's opponent, former general Prabowo Subianto, has yet to concede.

2.4: Global sea levels could rise an average of 2.4 meters by 2100 in a worst-case scenario, according to a survey of climate scientists – more than double the maximum level predicted in an influential 2013 study. Scientists calculate that 1.8 million square kilometers of land could be submerged if the worst comes to pass – an area roughly three times the size of France.
