The new coronavirus, which first surfaced in the central Chinese city of Wuhan, has already killed 132 people and infected more than 5,000 people in China. A little over a month since the virus was first identified, it has spread far beyond China's borders. Global financial markets have also taken a hit as investors are on edge about the uncertainty.
