GZERO Media/Eurasia Group Summer Intern Program

We are seeking motivated students who are interested in global politics. Interns will work in one of the 5 business areas:

  • Research: Internships with our research teams generally involved supporting a regional geography or sector group. This internship will provide opportunities to learn about the field of political risk analysis, receive training on the preparation and presentation of political risk analysis, and network with Eurasia Group analysts responsible for coverage of other issues, countries, and sectors. Provide research support, including basic primary and secondary source information-gathering for our written products and client meetings, as well as general administrative assistance.
  • Client Services: Exposure to sales, marketing and client engagement best practices. Areas of focus include Corporates, Capital Markets, Brazil, London and Japan. Support day-to-day client engagement, including updating records on Salesforce, drafting proposals/communications, assisting in client project management, among other tasks. Provide targeted research for clients and prospective new clients. Monitor key developments in politics and policies relevant to existing clients and prospective clients and assess their business implications. Support the publication and finalization of client deliverables and keep track of client project schedules. Help in the coordination of virtual and in-person road shows, summits and other client facing events.
  • GZERO Media: Internships at GZERO Media offers three distinct opportunities. Interns working with the Signal Newsletter team will primarily focus on research and outreach to connect the Signal writers with other journalists, data points for their graphics and international news analysis. The Video Production Intern will work as a production assistant for our Public Television show, GZERO World with Ian Bremmer, our multiple video series, or as an assistant video editor. Interns working with our Growth team will focus their work on social media development, digital platforms data analysis, or website publishing.
  • Operations: Communications and marketing, events, finance, HR, research management, sales operations.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to conduct in-depth research independently.
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to provide clear and succinct written assessments.
  • Excellent (oral and written) communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to produce multiple pieces of research and analysis under tight deadlines.
  • In addition to being a self-starter able to work independently, you will bring a collaborative and team-oriented spirit.
  • Comfort learning new technology and collaboration tools.
