Over the weekend, a heavily-armed white supremacist murdered 11 Jews in a synagogue in Pittsburgh. It was the worst anti-Semitic attack in the United States on record, and it sparked a furious debate about whether anti-Semitism in the united states is increasing – and if so, why. Here are data on the number of anti-Semitic incidents recorded each year by the Anti-Defamation League, a watchdog. Since 2015, they have more than doubled, rising 57 percent last year alone.
