Donna Edwards
Donna F. Edwards served five terms in the United States House of Representatives, becoming the first African American woman to represent Maryland. She was born in Yanceyville, North Carolina, grew up in a military family, and lived in every region of the country and internationally. She is a contributing columnist for The Washington Post and NBC/MSNBC political contributor.
Ian Bremmer
Ian Bremmer is a political scientist who helps business leaders, policy makers, and the general public make sense of the world around them. He is president and founder of Eurasia Group, the world’s leading political risk research and consulting firm, and GZERO Media, a company dedicated to providing intelligent and engaging coverage of international affairs.
Miriam Sapiro
Miriam Sapiro is a Managing Director at the global communications firm Sard Verbinnen & Co. (SVC) and Vice Chairman of its public affairs practice. As Ambassador, she served as Deputy and Acting U.S. Trade Representative during the Obama-Biden Administration. She was a senior member of the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) and on the Board of the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (now the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation).
Anne-Marie Slaughter
Anne-Marie Slaughter is the CEO of New America and the Bert G. Kerstetter ’66 University Professor Emerita of Politics and International Affairs at Princeton University. From 2009-2011 she served as the director of Policy Planning for the United States Department of State, the first woman to hold that position.
Cecilia Muñoz
Cecilia Muñoz is a national leader in public policy and public interest technology with nearly three decades of experience in the non-profit sector and 8 years of service on President Obama’s senior team. She is currently a Senior Advisor at New America, where she built a major initiative on public interest technology, and led locally-focused initiatives.
