A manager with a blue collar heart

One flight at a time - Eni's Faces | Eni Tv

Meet Mattia Campanati, Operations Director of Eni's natural gas field in Zohr, Egypt. Though today he oversees the production and maintenance of the 2.8km long field, his 20 years at Eni have not always been as glamorous. Mattia started as a maintenance worker, tasked with checking valves and pipes. Late in his life, he decided to pursue a degree and for several years split his time between his studies and late night shifts at Eni. Though a risky and challenging career change, his electrotechnical engineering degree proved worthwhile as he now travels the world doing what he loves most.

Hear Mattia's inspiring story on the latest episode of Faces of Eni.
