Dutch artist Thomas Kole has painstakingly re-created the ancient Aztec capital of Tenochtitlan using a blend of modern photography, archeological sources and computer-generated images. If you’ve ever walked the streets of Mexico City wondering what it might have looked like in its pre-Columbian prime, you’ll want to spend plenty of time with these images. - Matt Kendrick
