Watch: Birds. It’s way more fun than it sounds: I went bird watching with a group in New York City’s Riverside Park this weekend and had a blast. Grab your binoculars and buckle up for the most exciting two hours of your week. – Lizzy
Listen: The sounds of Glastonbury. The world’s largest green-field music festival roars back to life this weekend, as revellers began to arrive at Pilton Farm in southwest England. Performing at the festival is an honor for the musicians rather than a moneymaker: headline acts earn barely a fraction of what they do elsewhere. “The 1975,” Neil Young, and Olivia Rodrigo are the headliners, but Charli XCX is likely the act who will garner the biggest crowds. Expect a sea of neon-green shirts when she performs on Saturday. – Zac
Watch: “Vermiglio.” An Italian film set in the high mountains of northern Italy in the closing days of World War II, Vermiglio tracks the arrival of a wounded soldier en route to faraway Sicily into a home that centers on the emerging lives of three daughters. This movie threatens to tip into melodrama at every moment – and it never does. Beautifully shot, masterfully acted, and a story that refuses to compromise, this is a gem of a film. – Willis
