  • Flexibly manage multiple projects and respond quickly to breaking news and fast-changing requirements.
  • Join internal meetings and (on occasion) external client or event sessions to collect feedback, brainstorm, and present creative ideas.

  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, After Effects, Photoshop, and InDesign; demonstrated ability in using generative AI visual tools and fluency with a variety of new and emerging design platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional portfolio with at least four examples of visually explaining complex or policy-related topics.
  • Passion for global news and politics; international mindset and curiosity about foreign affairs.
  • Entrepreneurial, “scrappy” approach: can take direction but also thrives independently in a fast-paced, feedback-driven culture.
  • Team player who contributes to creative vision and thought leadership; strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Adaptable to flexible working hours and quick-turnaround requests driven by the global news cycle.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to experiment with new tools or approaches.

In-person attendance in New York City or Washington DC office preferred; remote candidates considered (in EST time zone).
