The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience using visual storytelling—including data visualizations and short-form animations—to make complex geopolitical topics accessible, social-friendly, and engaging across platforms. You will join a dynamic team of researchers, editors, video producers, and writers to elevate our storytelling and thought leadership through innovative multimedia content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily: Design and produce visually compelling assets—including infographics, charts, maps, and data visualizations—for research publications, newsletters, client deliverables, and GZERO Media’s digital platforms.
  • Weekly: Create short-form animations and motion graphics for editorial video, social-first content, and multimedia products.
  • Monthly: Develop interactive and animated presentations for events and conferences, collaborating with the Events team and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with editorial, research, and digital teams to translate complex global topics—country analysis, elections, breaking news—into clear, impactful visuals.
  • Propose new creative concepts to advance the firm’s visual storytelling, experiment with generative AI and new design tools as appropriate, and help define our visual brand in a crowded digital marketplace.
  • Flexibly manage multiple projects and respond quickly to breaking news and fast-changing requirements.
  • Join internal meetings and (on occasion) external client or event sessions to collect feedback, brainstorm, and present creative ideas.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 3+ years’ experience in graphic design and animation (preferably in news, research, think-tank, or policy communications environment).
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, After Effects, Photoshop, and InDesign; demonstrated ability in using generative AI visual tools and fluency with a variety of new and emerging design platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional portfolio with at least four examples of visually explaining complex or policy-related topics.
  • Passion for global news and politics; international mindset and curiosity about foreign affairs.
  • Entrepreneurial, “scrappy” approach: can take direction but also thrives independently in a fast-paced, feedback-driven culture.
  • Team player who contributes to creative vision and thought leadership; strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Adaptable to flexible working hours and quick-turnaround requests driven by the global news cycle.

Additional Details:

Associate Director, Business Operations

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Business Operations lead to join the GZERO Media team. This position is integral to maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations, working at the nexus of GZERO Media and Eurasia Group's broader initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a systems person, very organized and structured, a strong communicator and collaborator, and adept at managing multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compile and maintain the GZERO vendor tracker to assist key stakeholders in managing controllable costs.
  • Prepare and submit monthly expense reports to the Finance department.
  • Review and approve vendor invoices in coordination with Eurasia Group’s COO and CEO.
  • Act as a liaison with EG’s Operations, HR, and Finance departments to implement or coordinate initiatives within GZERO Media.
  • Provide business services support for shared initiatives between EG and GZERO.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to streamline business operations for improved efficiency.

Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Director of Sales and Partnerships to join our team in New York. This role is ideal for a media sales professional with 6 to 10 years of experience, keen on advancing their career in a highly competitive and fast-paced environment. The Director of Sales and Partnerships will be instrumental in expanding GZERO Media's media client base, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth in the broadcast, digital, video, podcast, and newsletter segments. Key Responsibilities

  • Go-To-Market Strategy: Develop and execute strategic account plans and support senior leadership in business and strategic planning, including cultivating new business pipelines, forecasting, and major pitches. Generate new ideas, sales platforms, and sales and marketing opportunities.
  • Partnership Proposal Development: Operate with a high level of proficiency in PowerPoint to cultivate proposals that not only tell a compelling narrative for existing customers and future prospects but are also creative, compelling, and dynamic.
  • Client Stewardship: Maintain and enhance client relationships at all levels of the organization internally and with external senior clients and agency-level colleagues by providing exceptional service and support. Work with stakeholders across the organization beyond GZERO to cultivate ‘One-Firm’ partnership revenue, including events, advisory, and speaking engagements. Respond to internal and external client questions about campaigns, results, and assets promptly and accurately.
  • New Business Development: Make cold calls, source competitive marketplace activity, generate RFPs through agency partners, gather leads from conferences and summits, leverage existing client relationships, and partner with various clients across industries to identify and cultivate new business opportunities. Write comprehensive contracts and SOW documents ensuring client satisfaction and company profitability.
  • Industry Knowledge: Demonstrate a wide-ranging knowledge of the integrated media landscape with a deep understanding of digital, video, social, newsletters, broadcast, audio, programmatic, events, and branded content to present prospective opportunities to new/existing customers.
  • Client Report Analysis: Working with our data team, conducting thorough reviews of client reports, emphasizing detail and data accuracy. Partner closely with the digital operations team to help deliver campaign optimization recommendations. Work with the data team to oversee ongoing performance reporting to create upsell opportunities for a suite of customers.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Media Expertise: 6 to 10 years of experience in media sales, with a strong understanding of the evolving media marketplace.
